INSPECTION OF CERTIFICATIONS

Overview

The ability to inspect, spot test, or audit projects is vital for the humanitarian and development sectors to carry out monitoring processes more efficiently. While paper-based forms are often used in these processes, this method can be inefficient due to accessibility issues, a lack of resources, and limited technical capacity of surveyors. Such inspections incur high human resource costs, do not make data easily available for further review or analysis, and do not improve understanding of the effectiveness of inspection processes. FieldSight enables project stage monitoring that is already standard for inspection and certification processes. Digitized inspections streamline the data collection process, provide actionable data that is easy to analyze, and improves transparency and accountability on the worksite. With FieldSight it is possible to track the quality of an entire portfolio or program by monitoring the same site at regular intervals to carry out progress inspections and issue certifications.

Key Features

Custom Forms:

Customize digitized forms to collect more than 22 kinds of quantitative and qualitative data types, from numerical measurements to text and audio options.

Geo-Tagging:

Automatic geotagging and time-stamping can be used to confirm the legitimacy and veracity of submissions for audit purposes. Inspections can be linked to individual sites to ensure that data can be compared against past and future submissions.

Organizational Structure:

Differentiate access and responsibilities for all project stakeholders by assigning user roles. While the project is underway, it is also possible to show tailored dashboards that display project progress and main achievements to donors and partners.

Communicate with Teams:

Communicate with field personnel or auditors through multiple channels within FieldSight, creating a feedback loop essential for successful working in a short time frame.

Dashboard and Reports:

Track progress and key indicators across all projects through system dashboards and custom reports. Iterative analysis can identify key issues and success factors to support learning and program improvements.

Educational Materials:

Upload guidance materials and training documents so field staff have access to assessment standards, project guidance, and other important documents at their fingertips through the project dashboard.
